Road Closures July 26, 2025- Vehicles May be towed

The following road portions will be closed to all vehicular traffic on July 26, 2025 for safety during an event being held in the Borough. Permissions will not be granted, and vehicles in the closure area may be ticketed and towed by the SCPD.
-100 through 400 E Foster
-100 through 400 E Beaver
-100 Highland Alley
-200 through 300 S Garner
-From the entrance of Pugh garage on 100 S Pugh through 300 S Pugh
-From the entry ramp of the McAllister Deck on McAllister Street to the intersection of Beaver Avenue
-From the exit of the McAllister Deck on McAllister Alley to the intersection of Beaver Avenue
-From the barricades approximately 100 ft from the Beaver Avenue Intersection to Beaver Avenue on Locust Lane and Heister Street
-Fraternity Row and Clover Alley from E Foster to Laurel Alley
-Berry Alley and Apple Alley from E Foster to Ash Alley

The following locations will be for local residential traffic only, with the access point being the intersection Locust Lane and E Foster. Permissions will not be granted and vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed due to Locust Lane turning into two way residential traffic only on July 26, 2025:
-200 through 400 Locust Lane
-Highland Avenue (accessible via Locust Lane only)
-Orchard Alley (accessible via Locust Lane only)
-Apple Alley from Orchard Alley to E Foster (accessible via Orchard Alley only)

-If you have a valid Commuter or Residential permit, please remember that Saturdays do not require a Commuter or Residential permit for these zones, and a map is available online or through email if you are inquiring about alternate locations for daytime parking options

-Pugh Street Garage and McAllister Parking deck will remain fully open and accessible via Calder Way and College Avenue. 




Parking Ordinance and Violation fee schedule updates

In April 2025 the State College Borough council passed revisions to Chapter XI of the State College Municipal code. Starting around June 16th, 2025 these new or updated ordinances will be implemented in both practice and fee structure. Your usual ParkMobile Zone may have changed!

To better serve parkers and have clearer zones on the application map, some zones have changed in ParkMobile

Zone 4201 - Is now only just College Avenue 
Zone 4202- Is now only just Beaver Avenue
Zone 4203- Is now all North-South directional streets, Foster Ave and Nittany Ave

Zone 4205- Digital Only Zone where 100 W Foster, 300 S Allen, 200 S Burrowes multi-space units used to be
Zone 4206- Digital Only Zone where 400 W Beaver multi-space units used to be

Zone 4214- Second level of McDeck to ensure session starters see when the second level is by monthly permit only. This zone will not allow a session start until after transient parkers are allowed on the 2nd level
Zone 4215- McDeck (unchanged)
Zoine 4216- Beaver Lot (unchanged)

Zone 42100- THON Donation Zone (unchanged)
